Thai Taste is the average late night getting home, no time to cook takeout meal in my household. The service is always quick and the staff is always great and quick to get your order prepared. Our normal order is the chicken pad thai (10 spice) and the chicken Mussamun curry (8 spice). A mom of a friend is from Thailand and makes the best Mussamun curry which has turned into a comfort food for me...since she is in Thailand most of the year Thai Taste's Mussamun hits the craving mark.

If you're looking for an appetizer I would recommend their flavorful chicken and potato curry puffs or their crab Rangoon.

The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. They specifically accommodate for gluten allergies, so I had the tofu pad thai along with a spicy tuna roll. Overall, the portions are fairly large but I found it a bit expensive. For two it was around $35 for dinner without alcoholic drinks.

I will certainly be back again as I live in the area, but I wish the prices were a bit more reasonable. For example, the pad thai is $10.95 plus $2-7 depending on what is added. I think the base price would be fair for chicken or tofu; however either of those is a minimum of $12.95.

Been here a few times over the years, but have not been back in probably over 4 or 5.
Kinda forgot about this place as we have been trying other places around town.
I was again pleased with Thai Taste. Summer rolls were absolutely delicious!
I had the green curry and it was perfect.
Sushi was equally delicious and fresh.
A big plus in my book is when I ordered my Sapporro beer, it came out very cold and also came with a frosted mug.  Most Asian cuisine places I have found the beer to be somewhat warm.. just my experiences.

As true west-siders, my parents wanted to try this since they've become hooked on Thai at Buddha Barn - but saw this place was less expensive. Long story short, my dad said he wouldn't come here again even if he had a 50% off coupon! And we didn't bring our leftovers home.

The service and atmosphere left much to be desired. And the food was terrible. I got the chicken skewer with cucumber salad appetizer. The meat was tough, stuck to the stick, and absolutely tasteless. The "salad" was about 1/8 of a cucumber, diced and floating in sugar water. My mom ordered something with sauce on the side (I forget what), and they brought it out with sauce, saying that it tastes better with sauce and they wouldn't do it without (?? - is everything premade or something??) My dad got chicken fried rice and picked at it. And my family - who doesn't waste ANY food and loves leftovers, only ate about half our food and didn't ask for boxes.

To top things off, my fortune cookie said "To err is human, to rub it in divine." What??

(Maybe the sushi is better than the Thai - a lot of people seemed to be getting that. But I'm not going back to find out)

My review of this place may not be the best to go off of, as I don't like sushi. I can't stand it. But I've heard the sushi here is good. That being said, let me tell you why I love Thai Taste. They have by far the best orange chicken I've ever had anywhere. It's so ridiculously flavorful, I can't even describe it. This is how every place should do orange chicken. I order with the spiciness at a 7 or 8 usually, so it has a decent amount of heat, but not too much that you can't taste the orange sauce. And to top this off, their fried rice is phenomenal. It's actually really fried white rice, not just frozen rice that's fried. You can really taste the difference. Why 4 stars? The consistency. There's been a few times I've gotten my precious orange chicken and it's been dry. Other than that, this place is the best.
